My Process

This is a project with an international management consulting firm that I led while at Infosys. This project was different than the other projects that I participated in at Infosys as it was structured as a staff augmentation project instead of as a single deliverable. This meant that we had many different teams we worked with, from the staffing team, to the private equity group, to the partner assessment system, on a daily basis. Each of these teams had a variety of design needs that we worked with them to solve. Our process was typically to first meet with the product owner to discuss their design need in depth. After we understood what they were looking for, we would start an iterative design process that involved sketching, medium-fidelity wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes. Once a design was finalized, it would then be passed to our two front-end development resources to begin development. Their responsibility would be to create our designs in HTML and CSS, to ensure quick handoff to the larger development team.

 This structure gave us the opportunity to solve lots of different problems all across the company, for a variety of different devices and contexts. Our work would range from designing an image carousel for the main .com property, to building a new dashboard to provide visibility into the way partners are compensated, to providing a way for partners to send curated insights to prospective clients from their mobile devices.

My role on this project was as overall project lead and single point of contact. This means that unlike other projects in my portfolio, for this project my role was primarily providing design critiques, managing individual designers, organizing meetings, and overall ensuring that the client’s engagement with Infosys met their expectations. This project was a 12-month engagement, with the possibility of an extension. It took place entirely remotely with the client being based out of Boston.
