Allergan Data Labs (ADL) is a division within the pharmaceutical titan Abbvie dedicated to creating digital experiences that improve the patient experience. The team's mission is to increase the adoption of Allergan Aesthetics products, particularly BOTOX Cosmetic, through strategic use and application of technology. The main platform I worked on while at ADL is a consumer tool known as Allē, a rewards program for patients with over 7M active members in the United States. Some projects that I helped design include:

  • Allē Flash is a feature that allows patients to earn surprise offers to use on the day of their appointment. Patients scan a QR code available on the front desk and are given an offer they have to use during that days appointment. These offers are calculated based on a variety of factors, including treatment history, product availability, company initiatives, and more. They range from $10 to over $300, and are often specific to a particular product line.

  • Refer a Friend is a tool that enables patients to recommend Allē to their friends and earn rewards. Patients can share their invite code via text message or any application through the system share tray. When a friend signs up, that patient receives $20 off their first treatment. Once that patient makes a purchase, the referring patient earns additional rewards.
